Terms and conditions - the boring stuff!

Orders

Once you have placed an order through our website, we will acknowledge it via e-mail as soon as possible, detailing what has been ordered and how much it will cost. Please review this acknowledgement as this will be your opportunity to  correct any errors or make any amendments to your order.

 

Shipping

Most of the items shown in the shop are made and ready to ship, so will be despatched within 3-5 working days of receiving your order and payment. If this is not possible for any reason, we will contact you. If an item is out of stock but can be re-made, then we would hope to ship the item within 7 working days of receiving your order. If this is not possible, then again we will contact you .

For special orders and personalized work, we will do our best to meet any time restraints that you have. We will let you know how long we think it will take to make and ship. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

Payment

Our preferred method of payment is Paypal.

For UK customers only, we can accept a personal cheque but goods will not be shipped until the cheque has cleared through the bank. If you wish to pay by cheque, then please contact us.

 

Returns Policy  

We always hope that you are happy with our products and hope that if you have any problems, that you will contact us so that they can be resolved. However, you have the right to cancel the purchase of goods, that are not custom made or personalised, without having to give a reason within 14 days of receiving the order. If you wish to return the item(s), then after you have informed us of your wish to cancel the purchase, you have a further 14 days to return the item to us. For stock items we will issue a refund of the cost of the goods and any return postage if the item is returned to us in an unused, perfect condition. For bespoke, personalized items, refunds will only be issued if the goods are faulty. The cost of returning faulty items will be met by us once the goods have been received back.

If the goods are faulty, then please contact us and we will arrange for a replacement item to be sent or issue a refund if necessary once the faulty goods have been returned to us.

Any refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving back the items.

 

Privacy Policy

I FatBrownMouseDesigns am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.

When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:

• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.

• To comply with legal or tax obligations.

I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
